Pierce Township Police Department

The Pierce Township Police Department is a full service, award winning department dedicated to your safety twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.  Your police department is committed to Community Oriented Policing to establish strong community connections that improve the quality of life and safety for the entire Pierce community.  We make it a point to wave to our citizens and to assist with any safety service need.

Road patrol officers are the primary responders to service requests. The Department also includes a Detective Division and a dedicated School Resource Officer (SRO).  The SRO works closely with our three different school districts to best provide instruction and safety to children. Pierce also has two drug detection canines that are used to stem the flow of illegal drugs into our community.  Razec is the youngest canine in the history of the State of Ohio to be certified for drug detection; and Dougie is only the second dog in law enforcement to be trained in illicit and prescription drugs.
